We are a Bible-believing church standing for the historic fundamentals of the Christian faith in Helena, Montana. We strive to live for Christ and grow in Him individually and collectively. We are a close family of sinners saved by the grace of God who exist to do the work of God (Ephesians 4:11-12). We help individuals grow through the gospel, fellowship, and practical Bible teaching. We stand without apology for the Cross of Christ and the Fundamentals of the Faith. Please come visit and let us know how we can encourage you.
We believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.
We recognize salvation has always been by grace through faith.
We use traditional, conservative worship hymns and Bible preaching.
We view the Bible as literal and authoritative.
We use the King James Version, but are not "King James Only." Our greatest desire is that whatever translation you use, your Bible would be well-worn from use, read repeatedly cover to cover, and learned precept upon precept until it is ingrained into your heart and life.
We are not Pentecostal or Charismatic.
We believe Israel and the Church are distinct.
In September of 2022 Bill Jenkin III accepted the call to become Pastor of Berean Baptist Church. Pastor Bill and his wife, Terri, are both native Montanans from the Anaconda area.
For over 21 years, by His grace, Bill and Terri have had the privilege of establishing and nurturing churches. Bill has served as Vice President and then President of Continental Baptist Missions. (Since 1942, Continental Baptist Missions has provided support services for planting, revitalizing, and building biblically sound and spiritually healthy Baptist churches in North America.) Bill resigned from that office in 2022 to move back to Montana but continues to be a part of work of the CBM Mission.
The Jenkins consider it a privilege and joy to serve local churches through:
Church Growth Seminars
Marriage/Family Relationship Conferences
Mens’ Retreats and Ladies’ Retreats
Berean Baptist Church looks forward to our future growth and outreach under the shepherding and leadership of Pastor Bill and Terri.
